Enkindle is an independent magazine project, that showcases black creatives and businesses. I was the key designer and was responsible for the layouts and overall look for the first issue of the magazine.
My task was to lay out the several articles and 2 interviews to be featured in the magazine. I started by mocking up the initial layouts for the article and then added the text & images supplied by the editor for the final print.
This section of the magazine featured 1 of the 2 creatives, interviewed for the first issue. To give the interview spread that pop of colour, utilize the pastel tone from a few of her feature photographs.
Other areas in the magazine covered fashion, beauty, finance tips, and sports updates.
